Harriet Phillimore
Honorary President

With more than thirty years’ experience in French and British education, Harriet led Concordia School Paris for six years and played a key role in its creation. She now contributes to its ongoing development. She is also Head of LAMDA France — the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art — and prepares our students for its examinations.

Board Member — Espérance Banlieues

A board member of Espérance Banlieues and former head of several schools, including Franklin, Viviane is deeply committed to educational innovation. She has devoted her career to developing excellence in education across a number of schools in Paris, and is also involved in associations working to improve education in priority areas. She is the mother of six children.

Elizabeth Intrator — Conseil scientifique de Concordia

Professor of English — Grandes Écoles

Franco-American, Elizabeth is now a professor of English. She prepares students for competitive entrance examinations to the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) and other grandes écoles. Elizabeth was also a member of the Strategic Languages Committee created by the French Ministry of Education in 2011-2012 to improve English standards among French schoolchildren. She is the mother of two children.

Entrepreneur — Artist

An entrepreneur and artist, Chloé works on the impact of arts education on the development of children’s creativity and curiosity. She is the mother of four children.

Jean-Philippe Hecketsweiler — Conseil scientifique de Concordia
Jean-Philippe Hecketsweiler
Founder — Fondation Descartes

Jean-Philippe is the founder of the Fondation Descartes, dedicated to combating misinformation and promoting informed public debate. He previously founded the investment firm HLD in 2004. A graduate of HEC, he began his career in 1994 at JP Morgan in Paris, London and New York. He is the father of two children.

Admissions — English-speaking recruitment

Having arrived in France over ten years ago after living in New York, Germany and Japan, Randi studied at Columbia College, Tokyo Metropolitan University and Columbia Law School, before practising as a lawyer specialising in international real estate finance. Former president of Message, a community of English-speaking families in Île-de-France. A polyglot (German, Japanese, French, English), she is now in charge of admissions and English-speaking recruitment.

Aurore Longuet Grierson — Fondatrice et Présidente de Concordia

Founder and President

Aurore began her career in the innovation sector after studying at Paris-Dauphine, before joining the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she worked for five years. She then moved into communications. Mother of three bilingual children and dividing her time between France and the United Kingdom, she has been fully committed to education since 2017. After extensive research and benchmarking of the world’s leading schools and educational methods, she founded Concordia School Paris, which she now chairs.
